The Company:

The Satellite Cooling Company was formed to design, manufacture and deliver the best possible solution to the food service industry for the challenge of maintaining cold food temperatures where food is openly displayed.  The Satellite Cooling Company is quality driven and seeks complete customer satisfaction.  We insist on using only the finest suppliers available for parts and service who seek the same goals of optimal customer satisfaction.

In his 26 years in the food service industry, Chef John Warren repeatedly saw a need that went unanswered:  How do we keep this beautiful buffet cold and looking delicious?  After years of testing, John found the answer and formed the Satellite Cooling Company to provide the food service industry with his unique product.  Anywhere that cold food is served, the Satellite Cooling System is rapidly becoming a necessity.

As the company moved forward, Satellite Cooling customers began using the Satellite equipment for many different uses. They were anything from sushi making and display to ice cream mix-ins. There were more and more demands for Satellite Cooling Company to design products using the Satellite Cooling patented technology to address the needs of these new ideas coming from chefs, managers and store owners.

Today Satellite Cooling Company has a product design and testing laboratory in Mundelein Il., where the Frostation system originated and where many unique food service solutions are being created.

The Founder:

Chef John Warren has 30 years of food service experience, beginning in 1978.  An innovator himself, John has combined his years of experience and dozens of prototypes to create the patented Satellite Cooling  and Frostation systems, applying years of experimentation and testing on his own.  John has brought to market his revolutionary Satellite Cooling System and Frostation ice cream mix-in to help caterers, chefs, ice cream franchisees and managers worldwide with safe food holding and professional ice cream service.
